The individual will be joining the KOKO Climate team and will be responsible for technical operations, under the supervision of the reporting manager(s), covering one or more of the following work streams:
● Registration-Cycle Project Management: Lead project design development & documentation (PDDs/PoA-DDs/CPA-DDs), manage validation and registration cycles for projects under various carbon offset schemes.
● Issuance-Cycle Project Management: Supervising monitoring surveys, preparation of monitoring reports, leading verification & issuance activities and regular reporting to investors.
● Research - Policy, Markets & Initiatives: Managing Secondary Research & Analysis on climate policy, new market mechanisms, compliance & voluntary market guidelines & requirements, Government initiatives & collaboration.
Together with a small team in Nairobi, Kenya, he/she will manage a broad range of activities and take full responsibility for managing the end-to-end carbon development and issuance cycles. He/She will manage a small team within the Climate Operations department and operate as the single point of contact for the global New Market Team and other departments
