Your Role
As a HRBP, you are responsible for aligning HR actions with the departments you support. You will be dedicated to a business area where you will identify and deliver on the HR agenda which supports the required strategic and operational business deliverablesYou partner with Heads of Departments to deliver value-added service to managers and employees that reflects the business objectives of KOKO. The ideal candidate will have a collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence others into action and to think creatively about solutions. This position is responsible for providing best counsel , not just HR Best practices to the business and successfully influencing and supporting strategies to meet our business objectives.

What You Will Do

  • Conduct weekly meetings with functional HODs to align on any workforce planning i.e recruitments, onboarding, probations, and exits
  • Consult with Line managers providing HR policy guidance and interpretation where appropriate
  • Ensure perfect execution of all operational HR processes in close collaboration with the HR Services team
  • Provide day to day performance management guidance to line managers (assess targets given are in line with departmental targets, ensure employees are provided feedback about their performance, and process of PIPs is fairly administered)
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues by conducting effective, thorough and objective investigations on issues raised.
  • You will serve as a consultant on HR issues and you should be excellent at cross functional collaboration and communication.
  • Thoughtfully engage subject matter specialists in the HR team on Talent acquisition, HR Operations and legal to solve issues not as an escalation but as a partner.

What You Will Bring

  • 4+ years of experience resolving complex employee/customer issues
  • IHRM/CHRP/HR background will be an added advantage
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Detail-oriented - You are very careful, and triple-check important documents, emails, presentations
  • Stakeholder relations & management - Excellent people skills, ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Highly proficient with google sheets and slides making professional presentations
  • Ability to comprehend, interpret and and apply HR policy, guidelines and regulatory requirements
