Your Role
As a Platform Data Analyst, data will be your product and you will work closely with the data engineering, analytics and software engineering teams to ensure well maintained data that is reportable for company wide consumption. You will be responsible for data integrity, governance and upholding data policies. You will build a clear understanding of all of KOKO’s data sources, data consumers and the systems and processes which make the data available downstream. You may at times drive our analytics function by generating data-driven insights to guide commercial and operating strategy; developing metrics, dashboards, and statistical analyses; helping to shape our overall vision & strategy.

What You Will Do

  • Work closely with analytics squads and product managers to understand business and data requirements and socialize direction
  • Ensure that data which is required for reporting is available and in a format which can be easily consumed by analytics while overseeing accuracy and integrity of the data
  • Participate in data design and infrastructure conversations as well as identify and coordinate data infrastructure improvements with analytics, data and software engineers
  • Design and develop automation tools to streamline day-to-day activities
  • Enable the success of KOKO Team Members by supporting them in accessing, understanding, and utilizing data
  • Ensure consistency, accuracy, and overall integrity of business metrics
  • Develop and maintain business intelligence documentation, training materials, best practices, and overall data toolkit

What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, or Economics (Master's degree a plus)
  • Experience in data analysis (ideally 3 years)
  • The ability to balance priorities, clarify stakeholder requirements, pay keen attention to detail, and generally keep deliverables on schedule
  • Proficiency with data warehousing, Domo or other data visualization tools, coding platforms such as SQL, R and statistical methods (Python an added plus)
  • Ability to communicate technical details clearly and concisely to management & ; external stakeholders
  • A curious mind and a passion for problem-solving, data, and analytics
  • Comfort in a fast-paced, growth-stage start-up environment
