Support program and curriculum design by creating and localizing SEL content, facilitating teacher training across districts, and contributing through research, data analysis, and on-ground implementation with government partners.

Role Expectations

*All the below-mentioned tasks would be key to your role. The following requirements are not mentioned in order of priority.

  • Assist in data collection, documentation and communication for baseline and endline assessments and with government stakeholders.

  • Conduct regular visits (35 per week) to selected Model Schools of Change to monitor Anandam implementation and provide on-ground support.

  • Provide support in the development of simple training content or session materials.

  • Support the Operations team in maintaining relationships with district, block, and school-level government officials.

  • Coordinate with Anandam coordinators, master trainers, trainers, headmasters, and teachers to provide regular programmatic support.

  • Support in facilitating on-ground program activities such as training, workshops, awareness-building sessions, community meetings, and so on.

  • Assist in the logistical planning and coordination of teacher training and workshops.

  • Work in collaboration with the curriculum, training, and state teams to ensure feedback from the field is relayed effectively.

  • Document on-ground stories of change and help maintain logs or field diaries for internal reporting.

  • Coordinate with Labhya's internal teams, e.g., Founders Office and Communications teams, for field visits by partners, donors, or media teams.

  • Develop community engagement plans towards the adoption and implementation of the program.

  • Co-facilitate teacher training sessions, learning how to design and deliver these sessions.

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor's/Master's in education, social science, or equivalent.

Experience

  • At least 2 years of fellowship or experience in working with government stakeholders, teacher training programs, facilitation and liaisoning

  • Prior experience of working on-ground with children and youth.

  • Prior Experience of working with school officials or government officials, managing multiple stakeholders for projects.

Characteristics

  • Fluent in English and Hindi (written and spoken)

  • Comfortable using Canva, Microsoft Office and Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides, Forms).

  • Comfortable with logistical event planning.

  • Ability to handle multiple projects/ tasks and experience in handling processes end-to-end.

  • Ability to solve problems using particular lenses, best practices, and frameworks.

  • A self-starter who acts with urgency and can find effective solutions to complex challenges.

  • Detail-oriented, curious, and excited by working with large datasets to derive meaningful insights.

  • Open to experimentation, learning, and collaboration in a fast-moving, purpose-driven environment.

  • Deeply committed to integrity, transparency, and trust in both process and relationships.

  • Strong interest in Social Emotional Learning (SEL), mental health, and psychosocial development.

  • Comfortable with frequent travel and being on-ground to support Labhya's programs and research.
