A high-impact role at the intersection of content creation, facilitation, and on-ground implementation that requires creativity, empathy, and adaptability to bring SEL to life across diverse classrooms.

Role Expectations

All the tasks mentioned below would be key to your role. The following requirements are not mentioned in order of priority.

  • Develop grade/organization specific teaching and learning material primarily pertaining to the concept of social emotional learning (SEL)
  • Contextualize curriculum wrt different geographies and socio-cultural contexts

  • Facilitate in-person as well as online teacher/trainer training sessions to build capacity as well as prepare detailed training modules (develop interactive lesson plans/activities for different training programs) for their clarity
  • Support in documenting & structuring existing programs within the organization

  • Working alongside state teams of Labhya to ensure effective implementation of programs with non-profit multilateral and government partners

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelors/Masters in education, social science, design education, or equivalent.

Experience

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in education, facilitation, training, or curriculum design.
  • Strong interest or experience in Social Emotional Learning (SEL), wellbeing, or child development.
  • Prior experience creating lesson plans, training content, or facilitating workshops preferred.

Characteristics

  • Skilled in lesson plan and PPT creation with a user-centric, creative approach.

  • Strong facilitation and articulation skills to engage diverse audiences.

  • Excellent observation, analytical, and interpersonal skills to translate classroom insights into program improvements.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite; familiarity with digital learning tools is a plus.
  • Fluent in Hindi and English : written and spoken.

  • Deeply committed to integrity, humility, and continuous learning.

  • A self-starter who thrives in collaborative, fast-moving environments.

  • Open to intense field travel as required by program demands.
