Support Labhya's fundraising and partnership efforts by managing communication, research, and operations to strengthen relationships with existing donors and our fundraising efforts expanding the reach of Social Emotional Learning (SEL) programs to millions of children across India.

Role Expectations

*All the tasks mentioned below would be key to your role. The following requirements are not mentioned in order of priority.*

  • Manage communications with existing and prospective donors including emails, proposals, reports, and engagement materials.
  • Support the end-to-end grant application process, including timelines, coordination, and submissions.
  • Curate materials for donor presentations, and events, ensuring clarity, timeliness, and quality.
  • Conduct research on donor landscapes, sector trends, and program models to inform fundraising strategy.
  • Maintain internal knowledge systems, including donor documentation, note-taking, and databases.
  • Support strategic planning for partnerships and fundraising initiatives.

  • Assist in assembling and analyzing data to support decision-making.

  • Ensure prompt follow-up and execution across all fundraising engagements.

  • Coordinate with multiple teams across the organization to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of tasks.

Experience

  • 1-3 years of professional experience in any industry (experience in a startup or NGO is an advantage).
  • No prior fundraising experience (Acceptable)

  • Experience in research, communications, or operations is a plus.

Characteristics

  • Highly proactive and prompt, able to manage communications across time zones.

  • Strong project management and time management skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Curious, adaptive, and eager to learn, with the ability to execute tasks even in new contexts.
  • Collaborative and comfortable working with cross-functional teams.

  • Confident in relationship management and coordination.

  • A self-starter with a problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.

  • Willingness to travel across India as required by program and partnership needs.
