Delhi/Remote, Fluency in English

Lead Labhya's A/B testing and rapid experimentation engine to strengthen evidence, improve implementation, and inform strategic decisions across curriculum, training, and digital interventions. This role blends research design, field execution, behavioural insights, and structured learning dissemination to help Labhya answer its most important strategic questions with rigor and speed.

Role Expectations

*All the below-mentioned tasks would be key to your role. The following requirements are not mentioned in order of priority.

1. Experiment Design, Frameworks & Methodology

  • Design and run rigorous A/B and multi-arm experiments aligned to Labhya's strategic questions and learning agenda.
  • Translate hypotheses and behavioural assumptions into clear, ethical experimental designs with defined quality criteria, timelines, and feasibility considerations.
  • Source and prioritise ideas, determining which hypotheses require rapid tests versus deeper strategic experiments across program components

2. Implementation, Monitoring & Field Coordination

  • Create clear SOPs, checklists, and implementation guides for field teams and school partners.
  • Coordinate sample assignment, delivery protocols, and data capture across schools and field teams.
  • Monitor fidelity of treatment delivery, resolve operational issues, and maintain consistency across geographies.
  • Ensure behavioural, action-level, and outcome-level indicators are measurable, observable, and collected reliably.
  • Maintain documentation of all experiments, including decision logs, implementation notes, and deviations.

3. Analysis, Insights & Knowledge Dissemination

  • Maintain an insights repository with experiment summaries, learnings, and status tracking.
  • Partner with data teams to define analysis plans and indicators, and interpret results to generate actionable behavioural and implementation insights.
  • Synthesize findings into clear narratives, recommendations, and learning briefs for leadership and program teams
  • Maintain a central insights repository to inform program design and scale.

Educational Qualification

Bachelors/Masters degree in Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.

Experience

  • 4-7 years of experience in experimentation, behavioural science, program evaluation, RCTs, A/B testing, or applied research.
  • Experience in designing and running field experiments or digital experiments end-to-end.
  • Experience in coordinating with field teams, schools, or decentralized teams is a bonus.
  • Strong understanding of sampling, randomisation, behavioural measurement, and causal inference basics.

Characteristics

  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides, Forms).
  • Fluent in English with strong writing and communication skills for sharing learnings with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong interest in Social Emotional Learning (SEL), mental health, and psychosocial development.
  • Ability to translate research designs into operationally feasible and scalable workflows.
  • Curious thinker with strong experimental intuition and bias toward learning.

  • Comfortable in low-information, high-ambiguity contexts where quick judgment is required.
  • Deeply committed to integrity, transparency, and trust in both process and relationships.

If you're someone who's driven by purpose, excited to build, and energised by ambiguity in service of children's well-being, we would love to hear from you. We care more about your drive, alignment, and willingness to build in the grey than ticking every box.
