Portfolio Management

As one of Africa’s leading fintech lenders, M-KOPA issues millions of micro-loans to our customers every year. Each of these loans is based on a rigorous credit risk assessment. Each of these loans needs to be authoritatively tracked. The results of that tracking is aggregated into M-KOPA’s management accounting systems, continuously stress-testing and re-forecasting. The Portfolio Management product group at M-KOPA is responsible for all of these objectives.

Practically speaking this means that you will be working with the engineering teams that build and maintain transactional systems for our core areas of loan management systems, collaborating with Data Scientists, Backend Engineers, Finance teams and the Analytics Engineers that support all of our Portfolio Management work.

Recruiter call 30 mins - an introduction to the process and M-KOPA

Hiring Team call 45 mins - High level introductions

Presentation done at home

Task Deep Dive 90 mins - This is where most of the magic happens.

Final Interview – 30 mins
