We are looking for an Application Security Analyst to join our Fraud Team. This role is Senior level, and you would be reporting to the regional head of Fraud.

Our fraud team is at the front line of establishing the facts of suspected fraud or other unethical business behavior including but not limited to device/product hacking. With a wide scope encompassing evidence gathering, investigation and taking part in the litigation process.

Overview

This role would involve performing vulnerability reviews of M-KOPA mobile, IoT and automotive devices, diagnosing possible hardware-based and software-based attacks, particularly for Android mobile phones and embedded systems and by extension assisting in forensic analysis of computers and laptops.

We foster autonomy and collaboration within and outside the team therefore you would be interacting with different stakeholders across fraud, forensics, and legal frameworks; documenting and tracking all analyzed M-KOPA mobile phones and sharing the findings with the relevant stakeholders. Additionally acting as an expert witness, presenting technical findings and fault analysis reports in the court of law.

This role is hybrid, allowing you to have a good work life balance with some of the onsite aspects of it involving frequent travel across the country to conduct on-site assessments, investigations, and court appearances.

Expertise

Our expectation is that you would have a working knowledge of the Android operating system, applications and IoT devices. With experience doing penetration testing, vulnerability discovery or having been successful in bug bounty programs.

If you have a Certification in a cybersecurity discipline such as, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) and an educational background in information security/computer science or a related field then this might just be the right fit for you.
