We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our Device Sustainability initiatives during a 6-month maternity cover period.

This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on our circular economy initiatives across five operating markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop our second-life device strategy across multiple markets, overseeing the end-to-end processes from sourcing, through to refurbishment, to sales of second life devices

  • Lead the design of new pilot programs, driving ongoing experimentation and learning, and oversee their implementation and scale-up of successful initiatives

  • Oversee and coordinate second life device operational activities across M-KOPA's 5 operating markets, ensuring consistency and efficiency in operations

  • Provide strategic guidance to country teams on execution and alignment with company objectives

  • Develop and maintain strategic supply chain partnerships

Required Expertise

  • Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking capabilities

  • Track record of implementing and scaling operational pilots across multiple markets

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

  • Ability to travel as required

  • Proven experience in mobile device sustainability or circular economy initiatives would be a plus

While this position is initially a 6-month maternity cover, there are potential opportunities for long-term roles within our Sustainability initiatives or Product teams for the right candidate
