We are looking for a Supply Chain Officer Officer to join our Warehouse group; as we scale up and drive digital and financial inclusion across our markets.
Job Purpose
As a Supply Chain Officer, you will be responsible for system updates, order/dispatch trackers, resolving dispatch issues, and assisting in stock takes.
What will you do?
Your role will involve processing orders and receiving deliveries from suppliers using our systems. It is crucial to update all shipping information on our systems and trackers promptly and to handle any dispatch queries from the field effectively.
You will also play a key role in facilitating stock transfers to ensure smooth order dispatch within the warehouse.
Furthermore, you will actively participate in monthly stock-take cycle counts and reconciliation efforts. This responsibility includes meticulously tracking stock levels and initiating order replenishments whenever necessary.
Additionally, you will oversee reverse logistics processes to guarantee adherence to procedures and 6S Kaizen Principles.
This is an onsite role in Uganda reporting to the Junior Warehouse Manager.
If you hold a degree in Warehouse, Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Management, and have at least six months of operational experience in a warehouse environment, you could be an excellent fit for this position.
Proficiency in Inventory Management Systems and Microsoft Excel is essential for efficiently managing data and analyzing tasks.
