We are looking for a HR Shared Services Specialist to join our People Team, contributing to operational excellence as we continue to scale and drive digital and financial inclusion across our markets.

The Shared Services team plays a vital role in streamlining processes, enhancing efficiency, and providing high-quality support for all human resources functions. This includes data management, employee services, and fostering best practices to elevate organizational performance.

As a key member of the Shared Services team, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence within the People team. You will focus on streamlining HR processes, enabling employee relations, and delivering high-quality support across various HR functions.

By collaborating on shared services projects and implementing best practices, you will help create seamless and efficient experiences for employees while contributing to the overall success of the organization.

For Hybrid/On-site roles:

This is a (hybrid) role, you would be working from our offices in (Nairobi, Accra, Lagos, Kampala or Johannesburg), partnering with a diverse group of employees from our different markets and locations across the UK, Europe and Africa. You will be reporting to the Head of Share Services.

This team is dedicated to streamlining processes, improving efficiency, and delivering high-quality support for all human resources functions. Their responsibilities include data management, employee services, and implementing best practices that enhance overall organizational performance.

The Shared Services team is dedicated to fostering seamless collaboration and effective communication, ensuring a smooth experience for both employees and the People team. This role encompasses key responsibilities such as policy development, providing support for local onboarding and offboarding processes, participating in Shared Services projects, and offering general HR administration support. To excel in this position, candidates should bring proven HR experience with a focus on shared services and business partnering, expertise in employee relations and policy development, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, exceptional collaboration and communication abilities, and, ideally, knowledge of global employment laws and regulations.
