Role Purpose
The Regional Master Trainer will lead capacity building and quality assurance for the Livelihood Programme in the assigned region. The role focuses on strengthening the capabilities of Training Officers, ensuring high-quality programme delivery, and supporting field teams to achieve outcomes for youth.
The role requires a proactive, solution-oriented professional who can work closely with operations teams, mentor staff across levels, and drive continuous improvement in training quality.

Key Responsibilities
Training and Capacity Building
- Build capacities of Training Officers across the region through structured and ongoing training interventions
- Lead regional trainings on employability skills, life skills, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship
- Conduct Training Needs Assessments and tailor training plans accordingly
- Demonstrate high-quality sessions at Livelihood Centres to set delivery benchmarks
Mentoring and Team Development
- Provide continuous mentoring, coaching, and handholding support to Training Officers, mobilisers, and programme managers
- Develop growth plans and retention strategies for Training Officers
- Act as a role model in facilitation, professionalism, and youth engagement
QualityAssurance and Monitoring
- Conduct regular audits and field visits to ensure SOP adherence and programme quality
- Track training effectiveness and implement measurement frameworks
- Analyse data and provide actionable insights to improve training outcomes
Programme Strengthening
- Collaborate with content teams to refine curriculum based on field realities
- Introduce innovative training methodologies (experiential learning, activity- based learning, S4D techniques)
- Integrate relevant digital and AI-enabled tools to enhance training design, delivery, and monitoring
- Identify risks and gaps in programme understanding and address them proactively
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build strong working relationships with operations teams including Associate Directors and Regional Directors
- Ensure alignment between training and programme implementation on the ground
- Work collaboratively across teams to strengthen programme delivery

Qualification and Experience
- Minimum 5 years of development sector experience along with at least 4 years of experience in a Master Trainer role
- Experience training adults in employability, life skills and AI
- Masters in management / social work / social sciences
- Experience in training design, delivery, and evaluation
- Familiarity with blended, virtual, and classroom training models
- Tech-savvy with experience using digital learning platforms
Additional Requirements (Must-Have)
- Fluency in local language(s) of the assigned region (mandatory), along with working proficiency in Hindi and English
- Familiarity and working knowledge of AI tools, with the ability to apply them in training, content development, and capacity-building processes
- Willingness to travel frequently and engage closely with field teams.
