Role Overview

The Product Designer / UI/UX Specialist will be responsible for crafting intuitive and visually engaging designs that enhance user experiences across mDoc’s digital platforms. This role combines user-centered design principles with a strong understanding of healthcare workflows to create innovative solutions. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to design seamless and accessible digital experiences that meet the needs of our diverse user base.


Key Responsibilities

  1. User Research & Insights

    • Conduct user research through interviews, surveys, and usability testing to understand user needs and pain points.
    • Analyze user feedback and behavior to drive iterative design processes and enhance usability.
  2. UI/UX Design

    • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for web and mobile applications.
    • Design intuitive user interfaces that align with mDoc’s brand guidelines and accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).
    • Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs.
  3. Collaboration & Communication

    • Work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into user-friendly designs.
    • Advocate for user needs at every stage of the product development process.
  4. Design Systems & Consistency

    • Develop and maintain design systems, ensuring consistency across all digital products.
    • Ensure scalability and adaptability of design systems to accommodate future product enhancements.
  5. Continuous Improvement & Innovation

    • Stay updated on UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices to incorporate into designs.
    • Identify opportunities to enhance user experiences and integrate cutting-edge design techniques.


Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related fields (or equivalent work experience).
  • 3–5 years of experience in product design, UI/UX design, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and accessibility standards.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with front-end development technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to facilitate collaboration with developers.
  • Experience designing for healthcare or health tech products is a plus.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills to present design concepts and solutions effectively.
  • Knowledge of design systems and style guides for creating scalable digital experiences.
