mDoc is a digital health social enterprise which leverages behavioral science, technology and quality improvement methodologies to provide virtual self-care health coaching to people living with or at risk for chronic health needs. The Position
The Clinical Program Strategy and Design Lead (CPSDL) will play a critical role in shaping the future of our care delivery model. This individual will lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of innovative health programs that integrate digital health, AI-enabled coaching, and in-person services. The role requires a blend of clinical and coaching expertise, systems thinking, program design and analytics skills to ensure our services drive measurable improvements in operational efficiency, member experience, and health outcomes. We are looking for senior leaders who can think strategically while rolling up their sleeves to execute during this critical growth period for mDoc.
The successful candidate will partner closely with cross-functional teams - including product, operations, growth, AI/data/engineering, research, and quality to ensure programs are evidence-based, human-centered, and scalable across diverse geographies.
The CPSDL will set the direction of our health programs and collaborate closely with teams to design programs inclusive of curricula and education content. As the CPSDL, you will:
- Refine the portfolio of programs (which conditions, what outcomes).
- Conduct evidence scans and align programs with global and local clinical guidelines.
- Design member journeys, curricula, and engaging content across multiple formats.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to embed programs into our digital platform

Key Responsibilities
Program Strategy & Design
- Lead the end-to-end design of health coaching programs, from concept development to pilot and scale.
- Translate organizational goals into structured program models, care pathways, and service flows.
- Ensure programs align with global best practices (e.g. WHO where relevant, local and regional MOH guidelines) and emerging innovations in digital health.
- Apply human-centered design principles to co-create solutions with members, providers, and communities.
Clinical Integration & Evidence Generation
- Partner to ensure evidence-based care protocols are embedded within program design. Integrate digital and AI-enabled tools into care pathways, ensuring safety, quality, and effectiveness.
- Conduct regular landscape and evidence reviews to ensure programs reflect current guidelines and best practices.
- Translate clinical guidelines into practical, scalable frameworks.
- Set and monitor program-level KPIs (clinical outcomes, engagement, retention, cost impact).
- Benchmark offerings against global best practices and adapt for cultural context.
- Collaborate with research and data teams to design evaluation frameworks and identify outcome measures.
- Synthesize insights from pilots and real-world deployment, user feedback, and clinical data to refine programs continuously.
Care Delivery Package Development
- Develop and assess detailed curricula: modules, nudges, milestones, and coaching flows with matrixed member journeys.
- Create engaging member-facing content (articles, push notifications, chatbot scripts, video/audio scripts).
- Leverage people and external assets as needed to accelerate content production.
- Ensure content is culturally relevant, inclusive, accessible, and compliant with local national and regional requirements.
Strategic Leadership & Collaboration
- Provide strategic direction for new program opportunities (e.g., women’s health, oncology, chronic disease).
- Partner with product/UX and engineering teams to translate clinical needs into product requirements and embed seamlessly into digital products.
- Collaborate with operations, coaching, and data teams to ensure seamless implementation, training, scale-up, and measurement of program impact.
- Support partnerships and external engagements by representing the organization’s clinical program strategy.
Quality, Learning & Improvement
- Work with Quality & Learning to embed quality assurance and continuous improvement practices into programs.
- Ensure risk mitigation, patient safety, and compliance with local regulations and international standards.
- Champion the use of data by program implementers and participants and insights to foster a culture of learning and adaptive program design.
