Position Overview
The Head of Business Development at mDoc will lead and drive strategic business growth initiatives, focusing on building partnerships, entering new markets, and scaling revenue. This senior leadership role demands a strategic thinker with both execution capability and the agility to adapt in a fast-moving digital health landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Growth Planning
- Define and execute business development strategies that align with mDoc’s mission and growth objectives.
- Lead market research, competitive analysis, and industry trend monitoring to uncover new opportunities and inform corporate strategy.
Partnership & Revenue Expansion
- Identify, negotiate, and close strategic partnerships and funding collaborations to expand mDoc’s reach and impact. This includes engaging potential partners across healthcare providers, payers at large, governments, and investors.
- Own the full lifecycle—from pipeline development through to deal closure—ensuring effective proposal preparation and contracting.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Build, mentor, and lead the business development team, nurturing a performance culture and driving against KPIs.
- Foster effective collaboration across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations to deliver coherent, cross-functional growth strategies.
- Establish, monitor, and optimize KPIs (e.g., revenue pipeline, conversion rates, partner engagement metrics).
- Provide regular performance reports and insights to senior leadership to inform strategic decisions.
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills
Education: Bachelor’s in Business, Marketing, Health Sciences, or related field with MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum 8–10 years in business development or sales leadership, preferably within health tech or digital health sectors. Demonstrated success in building high-impact teams and driving revenue growth
Leadership & Management: Exceptional team-building, mentoring, and cross-functional stakeholder engagement abilities.
Strategic & Analytical: Strong analytical mindset and ability to craft long-term strategies informed by market intelligence.
Negotiation & Deal Execution: Proven record in high-stakes negotiation and partnership structuring. Communication: Outstanding presentation, storytelling, and interpersonal skills across all levels. Tools Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM systems, analytics platforms, and business planning tools.
