Job Description

The Quality & Learning Associate will support the design, implementation, and management of mDoc's tele-education and capacity-building initiatives. This role assists in developing training programs, coordinating stakeholder relationships, and supporting the expansion of mDoc's learning hub network across Africa. The Associate will contribute to curriculum development, quality assurance activities, project coordination, and the creation of evidence-based learning materials that strengthen healthcare delivery systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Support & Implementation

  • Support the design and implementation of tele-education program anatomy, including planning, administration, and execution

  • Assist in developing the framework for the expansion of mDoc's tele-education projects within specified time frames

  • Contribute to the development of relevant curriculum for various tele-education programs, sessions, and series

  • Support the development of a standardized mDoc mentorship program for social enterprises post-immersion training

Content Development & Documentation

  • Create presentations, standard operating procedures (SOPs), curriculum, training materials, and quality assessments

  • Collect and curate relevant sources of evidence-based content and findings from mDoc's capacity-building endeavors

  • Prepare reports and decks for stakeholders, management, and funding partners

  • Contribute to the dissemination of implementation experience through peer-reviewed publications and presentations at global/local scientific conferences

Project Coordination & Stakeholder Support

  • Work closely with other project teams to ensure effective planning and delivery of tele-education sessions/series across various focus areas for all participant groups

  • Support the recruitment process for health facilities and other facilities interested in benefiting from capacity-building opportunities

  • Assist in quality strategy efforts with ministries and stakeholders such as WHO, including support for multi-stakeholder meetings and workshops

  • Coordinate with subject matter experts, hub experts, project partners, funding partners, and participating learning hubs (social enterprises.

Business Development Support

  • Support business development efforts to execute an implementation plan for recruiting social enterprises across Africa to undergo immersion training and become standalone training hubs

  • Assist in identifying new opportunities, including concept and proposal development, program design and implementation, and monitoring and evaluation (M&E)

  • Contribute to proposal development processes when needed.

Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting

  • Assist in managing project timeline, risks, and scope, and communicate updates to management and stakeholders as needed

  • Utilize data and technology to support strategy and track project progress and deliverables

  • Perform reporting as needed; compile data and generate reports and decks

  • Create monthly plans for virtual training needs and resource allocation

  • Contribute to a data-driven culture of real-time learning, feedback, and rapid iteration.


Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Education, Public Health, Social Sciences, HR- Learning & Development, Psychology or any related field

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in Programme support/ Learning & Development Experience, Administrative & Project Coordination Experience, Digital & Tele-Education tools.
