Introduction

We seek an intern with expertise in agricultural value chains, agroeconomics and field data collection practices to support client engagement and reporting on user statistics within our SaaS solution. The intern will engage with partners, clients and other stakeholders to ensure that our services and support are fit for purpose, to collect and analyze supply chain data, and prepare reports and presentations to provide insights and solutions to FAQs.

Key Responsibilities

• Compile questions from partners or clients and work together with internal / external experts to propose solutions.
• Distribute FAQs, insights and best practices to partners or clients and support in the development of systematic resolutions.
• Track user engagement within our SaaS solutions and analyse statistics on compliance, data quality, and programme KPIs.
• Survey partner organizations to monitor progress on the programme objective and assess key challenges and opportunities.
• Involvement in project management and presentation of progress and status reports to clients and partners.

Learning Opportunities

• Engagement with on-the-ground organisations working with agricultural commodities and smallholder farmers.
• Hands-on experience with the execution of consulting projects for major client(s).
• Collaboration with technical and business teams.

Scope of work

• Regularly report on user statistics, including data quality issues and non-conformity risks identified.
• Deliver a final evaluation report that reflects on KPIs such as client engagement, changes on user statistics, issues addressed.
• Updated FAQ documentation that includes, main data quality issues, regulatory compliance challenges and addressed technical issues (bugs, missing features or UX feedback).

Background and qualifications

• Enrolled in Master’s degree in Agronomics, Development Studies, Sustainability, or a relevant discipline
• Experience with data collection in the global south (preferably field experience as part of previous work or research assignment).
• Understanding of agricultural value chains, production methods, and supply chain traceability.
• Understanding of the European Union Deforestation Regulation.
• Affinity to technology and software solutions.
• Advanced knowledge of Google Workspace (google sheets, google slides. Google docs) or Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) applications
