Position Description
We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to own and grow our retail-focused products, including our “Bloom” point of sale software, custom pricing programs, and billing capabilities. Specifically, you would be responsible for ensuring a first-rate selling and billing experience for our customers and stores. Working with engineers, designers, marketers, and our retail team, you will build products that improve user experience, transaction volume, and revenue. You will drive product outcomes and define key metrics to innovate around new problem areas. You will share accountability for key decisions, achieve commitments to the delivery plan and provide constructive challenges to focus on our mission. You’ll hone your focus on value prioritization and impact for the business and user, balancing delivery and quality at all times. You will continually interact with Mutti customers and partners, and translate their needs into product requirements. This is a very cross-functional and high-impact role that reports to the VP of Product Management at mPharma.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for retail software products, including point-of-sale software, billing systems, and pricing tools.
- Lead a cross-functional product team of engineers, designers, marketers, and business stakeholders to define product requirements, prioritize features, and drive product development efforts.
- Conduct customer and market research and competitive analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and opportunities for product innovation.
- Clearly define and prioritize roadmap and non-roadmap items (e.g. bugs, tech debt) based on customer needs, business goals, and technical feasibility.
- Lead the product development process from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.
- Monitor key product metrics and performance indicators, and use data-driven insights to optimize product performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Act as a subject matter expert on retail software products, providing guidance and support to internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in retail software, and leverage this knowledge to inform product decisions and strategies.

Qualifications
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree in business, biology, computer science, engineering, or related discipline.
- 4+ years of product management experience in retail or financial businesses
- Fluent in English Language
- Has the legal right to work in the country of residence.
- Preferred locations include Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya, Uganda, Zambia, and Rwanda.
