Position Description

mPharma is looking for a Pharmacy Technician with a background in healthcare management and Pharmaceuticals. The candidate will be a member of our E-Commerce business unit in Ghana and will work with the team to deliver value and high-quality service to customers through our business operations. The E-Commerce business unit is a B2C team that focuses on improving patient's access to quality healthcare through a range of innovative initiatives. This team also manages mPharma’s online retail and delivery activities.

Responsibilities

  • Take prescription orders from clients/patients; capturing information appropriately
  • Record and submit adverse event reports and materials within a defined time period
  • Take regular stock count and keep inventory data updated
  • Manage inventory for our online retail pharmacy
  • Package and label medication for delivery
  • Meet personal/team qualitative and quantitative targets
  • Obtain client/patient information by answering telephone calls and responding to messages; verifying and providing information
  • Interact with patients in line with established policies and guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the business unit manager.

Our Ideal Candidate:

    • Certified Pharmacy Technician with at least 2 years of working experience in the community/retail space.
    • Conversant with the code of ethics of the Ghana Pharmacy Council and the PSGH.
    • Ability to work efficiently with all team members within and outside the unit.
    • Must pay attention to detail even under work-related pressure.
    • Team player
    • Efficient at multitasking
    • Computer literate
  • Must be able available to work Monday to Saturday evening shifts (4-10pm) - A standard total of 40 hours per week
