ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a role for someone who has a passion for being an organiser and a cheerleader to everyone coming into our HQ office space in Bangalore. This role is dynamic in nature and requires a fast-paced attitude to stay on top of duties. You will regularly be in touch with finance and HR to manage all documentation and formalities related to the facility. This role also entails maintaining our physical surroundings, overseeing the upkeep of equipment and supplies, you will be responsible for identifying any issues with our physical office space and coordinating with the required internal or external parties to have them rectified asap. You will be supporting the setup of our office and bringing Noora’s brand to this location.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • First point of contact for everything related to the facility.
  • Provide support relating to any of our office spaces: this will include identifying challenges faced by the team, understanding and communicating new requirements as requested, etc.
  • Keeping a tab on any new government guidelines relates to team safety.
  • Support the people team in enforcing in-office COVID protocols as well as working with the people team to identify any additional safety protocols that might be required.
  • Assist in the implementation of health and safety management (including coordination with cleaning staff and security staff), and ensuring consistency with organisation guidelines.
  • Communicating any potential downtime (including any reasons for closure of the physical office space) in advance so that teams are prepared for the same.
  • Setup and maintenance of the office space so that it can be used seamlessly by all team members and ensuring that the physical space and team is set up for success and ensuring a smooth hybrid work environment.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry qualifications with work experience.
  • 3- 5 years of facility/office management experience.
  • Quick learner, able to pick up new information relatively easily, an eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in working with Google sheets / Excel.
  • Flexibility and ability to manage multiple Stakeholders, Senior Leadership and Vendor relationships.
  • Self starter; handles self with minimal supervision and is proactive.
  • Strong communication skills. Being able to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
  • Additional skill sets required include, critical thinking, innovation, analytical mind set and agility to execute on multiple initiatives.
