WHAT YOU WILL DO
We are seeking an experienced Medical Lead to guide the clinical integrity and responsiveness of our AI-powered caregiver platform. In this role, you will work at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and product design to ensure that caregivers and patients receive medically accurate, empathetic, and actionable health guidance. You will oversee the development of messaging and response frameworks by establishing robust clinical protocols and quality standards. Working closely with product, engineering, and design teams, you will also design, validate, and refine advanced AI-driven capabilities within the platform. Your contributions will directly shape how our platform delivers safe, evidence-based, and culturally relevant health information across diverse contexts and geographies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serve as the clinical expert, ensuring health content, caregiver support features, and AI-driven tools are accurate, relevant, and compassionate
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to to design, test, and improve AI-based features like behavior-change messages, Q&A modules, and triage tools
- Develop and standardize clinical protocols, response workflows, and escalation processes to ensure safe and helpful caregiver support
- Establish quality frameworks for human- and AI-driven interactions, monitoring accuracy, empathy, and adherence to evidence-based practices
- Collaborate with country program teams to to adapt platform content and processes to local health guidelines, cultures, and laws
- Lead testing efforts with internal teams, use feedback to improve AI-enabled features, and keep the platform up-to-date with the latest medical standards.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
- 6-10 years of experience in clinical practice, digital health, or healthcare education with an MBBS, MD, or equivalent degree
- Experience working with AI-driven or digital health platforms, with a strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities of integrating clinical insights into technology solutions
- Ability to provide clinical leadership within cross-functional teams, setting high standards for medical accuracy and quality. Ability to work closely with non-clinical teams, translating complex medical concepts into actionable product features and content
- Experience creating scalable processes for clinical reviews, triage protocols, and quality assurance systems
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced evolving environment and able to adapt to iterative product development cycles
- Strong focus on precision, quality, and relevance to ensure high-impact project delivery and adherence to clinical best practices. Familiarity with healthcare regulations, data privacy, and medical ethics in digital health environments
