With support from governments and partners in India, Bangladesh, Indonesia, and Nepal Noora Health has trained more than 24 million caregivers and patients across 12,100+ facilities using their flagship caregiver education and training curriculum, the Care Companion Program (CCP).
In a cohort of patients, the CCP reduced post-surgical cardiac complications by 71%, maternal complications by 12%, newborn complications by 16%, and newborn readmissions by 56%.

In 2012, YosAid Innovation Foundation’s Director, Anand Kumar, met and worked closely alongside Noora Health’s co-founders in conceptualizing and prototyping what eventually led to the Care Companion Program (CCP). Yosaid is the implementation partner of Noora Health.
YosAid Innovation Foundation improves outcomes and strengthens health systems in India by promoting innovative healthcare practices and skills among patients and their families. In collaboration with healthcare institutions and the government, YosAid Innovation Foundation is the implementation partner of Noorahealth, provides healthcare training and actionable skill building to patients and family caregivers on health behaviours and information.
The Care Companion Program (CCP) will be implemented in the public health facilities of Rayagada districts of Odisha.
WHAT WILL YOU DO :
The objective of this role is to develop a constructive, interactive, continuous and adaptable
knowledge-building system for the population accessing public healthcare. As an implementation consultant, you will play a critical role in managing the engagement of the Care Companion Program with our partners. Support the Program Managers/ Trainers in the implementation and maintenance of the Care Companion Program. Also needed to support in collating /consolidating /preparing reports related to the program and work closely in coordination with Nodal officers of NHM Odisha for the needful.
- To ensure the long term program expansion in the state
- To build good partner relations and liaising with key stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation of the program.
- Ensure necessary documentation related program management as guided by NHM Odisha.
- Support the cross functional team of YAIF for customizing the CCP tools based on inputs from NHM odisha , needs finding exercise and local practices.
- Set up monitoring and rapid evaluation processes by assisting the Monitoring and research team of YAIF.
- Support in ground implementation by supportive supervision and hand holding of trainers at hospital level.
- Get permission letter for ToT and post training hospital based orientation of CCP. Coordinate with the district officials for ToT nominations.
- Provide technical assistance and capacity-building support to government partners
- Monitoring & evaluating the CCP progress, identify challenges and collaborate with the team for the solution.
- Regular advocacy with facility level, community level and district level officials and admins.
- Support technical team of YAIF in establishing the RES services and coordinating with NHM Odisha.
- Preparation of Monthly and Quarterly report of programs to be submitted to NHM Odisha.
- Coordinate with NHM Odisha to organize and conduct the program review for both community level and facility level.
- Document CCP best practices/innovations from field and testimonial reports for program advocacy, learning and sharing.
- Any other task assigned by the reporting manager.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR :
- The position requires heavy project based travel to various districts in the given
- state. Travel may be for an extended duration and sometimes require relocation to
- another region of the state.
- Language criteria: Odia, English & Hindi (applicant should have fluency in the native
- language of the state and candidates without above-mentioned language proficiency
- need not apply)
- 5-6 years of relevant work experience in related non profit sector (MPH, MHA, MBA, MBBS, MSW, BDS, BPT, Bachelors in nursing, BAMS, BUMS, with management background).
- Strong understanding of government health programs and policies
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Can Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Should have experience working with NHM and government health programs.
- Knowledge of CCP programs and community health initiatives.
- Proficiency in MS Office/G-drive, common computer applications and good reporting skills.
