Over 20+ years, OneSky has trained 113,500 caregivers to improve outcomes for 377,000 vulnerable children in mainland China, Vietnam, Mongolia and Hong Kong, SAR.Job Overview: Assist to develop, conduct, and evaluate training programs organized at the Family Center. Work directly with Early Childhood Development Trainers to develop their skills and foster a competent and knowledgeable training team.Reports to: Family Skills Training Director, Mongolia.Location: Family Center in 21 khoroo, Bayanzurkh district, Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.Job responsibilities: Develop and implement training aligned with organization strategy and country context; work with OneSky team to develop/implement/evaluate training to improve program quality; identify training needs and create materials; provide professional development, guidance, and feedback to trainers; mentor and coach inexperienced trainers; organize/manage resources (venues, equipment, materials); conduct in-person trainings for parents, caregivers, and partner staff on secure attachments, responsive care, and early learning for children 0–6; communicate age-appropriate activities clearly to parents/caregivers; participate in maintenance/operations of Family Center and Playground Ger; participate in professional development; stay current on child development/ECCE best practices; attend staff meetings; collaborate during Community Days and program activities; support delivery of family skills training and advocate for shared childcare responsibilities; other duties as programs evolve.Job Requirements: Bachelor’s in early childhood education or related; 5+ years working with young children and parents or in childcare; knowledge of Mongolian child protection and welfare laws/regulations; experience facilitating training for adults/parents; experience mentoring teachers/trainers; strong knowledge of best practices in care/education for young children; strong presentation/communication skills; experience with virtual classroom platforms (Zoom a plus); team-oriented and independent work ability; keen observation skills; values ongoing learning; respectful and compassionate; independent, open-minded, proactive, committed team player with positive hands-on attitude; proficiency in computer skills, especially MS Office; proficiency with software/hardware for general support; practical knowledge on Android devices a plus; committed to improving lives of young children; able to work full-time Tuesday to Saturday.To apply: Send application letter and resume with 3 references to careers@onesky.org and include the job title in the subject line.
