OneSky was founded in 1998 to improve the lives of children in China’s welfare institutions. In 2011, OneSky was invited by China’s Ministry of Civil Affairs to train every child welfare worker in the country to implement our evidence-based approach. The OneSky Approach has reached every province of China and beyond to benefit marginalized children in low-resource settings across Asia. Over the past 25 years, always in partnership with government and local communities, OneSky has trained 113,500 caregivers to improve outcomes for 377,000 young children with quality care and education in mainland China, Vietnam, Mongolia and Hong Kong, SAR. In the Bayanzurkh District, OneSky has opened a Family Center, which offers training programs and activities for families with young children, who live in the community. OneSky implements family skills training for caregivers and kindergartens and assists the government in developing its childcare and foster care systems.Job Overview:The Blended Learning Coordinator supports the training of caregivers caring for children from birth through six years old by managing the in-country development and day-to-day operation of OneSky’s multi-country digital learning platform, 1BigFamily, in Mongolia in collaboration with the local program team and OneSky’s Distance Learning Director. A coordinator must have some level of digital proficiency and be comfortable working in online environments, ideally, experience with online education and/or knowledge platforms. The Blended Learning Coordinator must be motivated to learn new technology and gain enough proficiency in ECCE to monitor the platform, observe how it is used to enhance in-person learning and mentoring, encourage user participation, and improve user experiences and support requests from trainees and trainers.Position: Blended Learning Coordinator, MongoliaReports to: Country Director, MongoliaFunctional reports to: Director of Digital LearningKey responsibilities:- Responsible for the training platform management of the organization (user management, daily operation on the platform, online and offline activities, trainee’s account, etc.)- Work with the training team closely to assist in enhancing the participation of all user groups on the Online Engagement Platform & Facebook groups.- Manage all online activities and learning experiences on “1 BigFamily” and Facebook groups.- Monitor users’ posts and comments to ensure they adhere to the guidelines.- Collect user feedback on the website’s functions and content regularly and categorize and organize the feedback information. Share it with the website admin team promptly to take follow-up actions.- Leverage engagement so learners will actively participate in online communities. Seek to increase exchange and sharing if participation is low.- Putting best practices in blended learning strategies and ensuring the most of a combined at-home and in-class effort.- Participate in the planning, organization, and overall promotion of the website’s online and offline activities and execution.- Integrate various data indicators, conduct user analysis, and submit relevant data reports, rectifications, and optimization suggestions as required.- Manage content creation with the program team (translation work, creating & posting the training content, etc.)- Accomplish other tasks of program team coordination work that is assigned.Job Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degrees in technology, education, early childhood, and related subjects are preferred.- Knowledge of blended learning and distance learning platforms.- Experienced in using technological equipment such as laptops, tablet, and smartphones and open to learning new digital tools/apps- Able to learn and get familiar with the basic skills of using/managing the Facebook Group & 1BigFamily Platform, as well as with required video and picture editing software such as Adobe Cloud Premier.- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines- Strong work ethic with demonstrated collaboration and coordination skills- Ability to set goals and work independently as well as collaboratively with OneSky’s local and international team members- Open to learning or having strong interests in the knowledge of child development and education of young children- Strong written and oral communication skills in English and Mongolian- Have a strong personal learning ability- Ability to use online training toolsSalary & BenefitsSalary is competitive and commensurate with experience and includes excellent benefits.
