Call for Applications: Consultant/Consulting Team to Conduct a Landscape Review of Childcare in Mongolia. Lead Organization: OneSky for all children; with MFLSP and GACFDP. Objective: Produce a 60–65 page Landscape Review summarizing the current state of independent childcare services in Mongolia, provider motivations and obstacles, scale/variety/quality under current law, sector enablers/barriers, and projected benefits and demand of expanding services. Scope: Consolidate existing data/literature; at least 15 stakeholder interviews; 5 case studies; focus groups with parents; provider focus groups or survey; present preliminary findings at a Round Table in November; finalize conclusions/recommendations. Timeline & Deliverables (June 20, 2026 – Jan 15, 2027): 1) Inception Report; 2) Draft paper (Intro–Ch.5); 3) Round Table PPT and discussion questions; 4) Final paper with executive summary; 5) Final presentation. Qualifications: Experts based in Mongolia with advanced degree and substantial experience in early childhood/childcare and socio-economic indicators; strong evaluation/research and qualitative reporting experience.
