Duties include:

  • Execute assigned compliance governance and monitoring activities timely with limited supervision.
  • Partner with compliance advisory and regulatory legal to identify regulatory requirements for assigned activities.
  • Lead discussions with support partners and business unit management to communicate monitoring outcome and any associated regulatory risk identified.
  • Assist in drafting Compliance related management reports and analysis, as applicable, with minimal support.
  • Conducts ad-hoc reviews as needed to support other functional areas within the Compliance team.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an institution with accepted accreditation and/or 2-5 or more years of regulatory compliance relevant work experience (internal/external audit, operational risk/compliance testing, quality assurance).
  • Understanding of federal and state laws and regulations and guidance or operational risk principles/concepts. Laws include but not limited to Reg B, Reg Z, Reg E, the US PATRIOT Act, Gramm-leach Bliley Act and other privacy related laws, Reg P, TCPA, FDCPA, FCRA, and the Bank Secrecy Act.
  • Working knowledge of monitoring techniques and data analysis principles, as well as the ability to interpret subsequent results.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels of management and practice effective challenge.
  • Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficient time and project management skills.
  • Initiative-taker with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
