The Why

Pandawa Agri Indonesia (PAI) is actively developing a Smallholder Initiative in Banyuwangi, East Java. This initiative aims to uplift millions of farmers by increasing crop productivity and promoting sustainable agriculture through PPAI™ Technology. As part of this effort, we have acquired farmland to transform into assisted farmers’ land, where we apply our innovative PPAI™ Technology.

In its first year, the Smallholder Initiative of Banyuwangi has surpassed expectations, demonstrating remarkable growth potential. To make the most of these opportunities, we are seeking a Stakeholder Engagement and Land Acquisition Officer who’s ready to be at the forefront of this journey.

In this role, you’ll face dynamic challenges in stakeholder (farmers, local government, and community) engagement, negotiation, and partnership building. You’ll adapt quickly to various conditions, communicate effectively with various stakeholders, and identify opportunities for collaboration that propel the growth of the Smallholder Initiative of Banyuwangi.

Who are we looking for?

  • At least a Bachelor’s degree, preferably from Agribusiness, Social, Communication, Business or other relevant fields.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in partnership, engagement, negotiation, or similar field activities.
  • Have an interest in the business world, especially agribusiness.
  • Love communicating with various people, flexible, easy-going, and able to build good relationships with various groups.
  • Good listener and able to build a comfortable conversation so that others feel valued.
  • Ready to take challenges in the field with a positive attitude and creative solutions.
  • Open to new ideas and keen to learn
  • Able to think logically and analytically
  • Willing to be based in Banyuwangi, East Java

What will you do?

  • Land Acquisition – Identify and strategically approach potential partners (farmers) – Acquire farmers to join the TPPAI program and support them throughout the process.
  • Stakeholder Engagement Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including farmers, community leaders, and local government.
  • Field Support – Support the smallholder initiative team in communication and coordination with stakeholders.
  • Documentation – Collect field data related to engagement and acquisition activities. – Organize and archive legal documents for land acquisition processes.
