Redeem is looking for a program-minded, data-savvy, detail-oriented, execution-focused back office fundraising professional to write grants that invite and strengthen our partnerships, produce communications that engage sophisticated faith-driven and faith-friendly foundations and philanthropists, and ensure that Redeem’s fundraising machine runs smoothly at all times. Specific responsibilities include:
Foundation Development (40%)

Collaborating with Redeem’s leadership on the suitability and strategic scope of grant opportunities;

Serving as the primary draftsperson for Redeem’s letters of interest, grant applications, and reports;
-
Project managing LOIs, grant applications and reports in collaboration with finance and program staff;

Monitoring the websites and portals of prospects and partners for grant opportunities and deadlines;
Advancement Communications (30%)
-
Partnering with Redeem’s CAO in developing Redeem’s fundraising communications strategy;
-
Crafting Redeem’s collateral pieces (e.g., one-pagers, pitch decks, annual reports, impact reports, etc.);
-
Supporting the CEO in the development of issue research, white papers, and technical reports;
-
Publishing digital content and communications (e.g., newsletters, social media posts, web content, etc.);
-
Partnering with graphic designers to create compelling visualizations of Redeem’s work and data.
Systems Management (20%)

Partnering with Redeem’s CAO in developing Redeem’s fundraising operations strategy;
-
Overseeing moves management for all of Redeem’s foundation and philanthropist relationships;
-
Building out, managing, and maintaining Redeem’s CRM to ensure accurate accessible donor data;
-
Leveraging AI-based tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Redeem’s fundraising efforts;
-
Coordinating the collection of client stories and images in collaboration with field-based staff;
-
Conducting donor research to evaluate prospects and support Redeem’s relationship building efforts;
Miscellaneous (10%)

Partnering with staff from other departments to collect relevant program and financial data;

Participate in Redeem’s professional development and spiritual formation activities;
-
Support other Redeem teams in the achievement of their objectives; and
-
Complete other duties as assigned.
The Director of Development Operations will report to Redeem’s Chief Advancement Officer. Some domestic and occasional international travel is required.

Experience:

Required: Five or more years of experience in nonprofit fundraising/program roles;
