Rippleworks Foundation provides high-growth social ventures with practical support and flexible capital to help scale their impact and improve more lives. The foundation’s programs have directly supported 250+ social ventures working in 60+ countries around the world.
Rippleworks partners with impactful social ventures (both nonprofit and for-profit) in three main ways:
- Projects: Short-term, high-impact engagements where organizations address a key operational challenge through a customized engagement that pairs them with an industry-leading executive who has deeply relevant experience.
- Leaders Studio: Interactive, results-driven learning programs where social venture leaders gain critical skills to deliver impact at scale.
- Capital: Flexible funding required for scale (unrestricted grants to nonprofits & loans to for-profits). The team has distributed $170M+ since 2018.

The Role
The Rippleworks Capital team is responsible for deploying $60M annually. The Portfolio Manager will play a critical role on the team evaluating and recommending funding to impactful social enterprises around the world. At first, you will support the front end of our diligence process, evaluating core criteria key to our investing strategy. Eventually, you will independently lead end-to-end deals, working across the full investment lifecycle of pre-diligence, diligence, investment recommendations and monitoring/learning. You will engage with a wide range of stakeholders from impact investors to entrepreneurs across all sectors and geographies.
