About the Role

Rocket Learning is looking for District Coordinators to support program implementation in Nandyal and East Godavari. This is a field-intensive role for someone who can coordinate with multiple stakeholders, support district-level implementation, train district resource persons, and ensure timely monitoring and reporting. The role requires a strong sense of ownership, comfort with field travel, and the ability to work effectively with government officials, teachers, parents, and district resource persons.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end implementation of Rocket Learning’s program in the assigned district

  • Conduct training for District Resource Persons (DRPs) on ECCE, play-based learning, etc.

  • Drive program effectiveness through DRPs via strong follow-through and implementation support

  • Build and manage strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders including government officials, teachers, parents, supervisors, and district resource persons

  • Monitor program progress regularly and identify implementation gaps

  • Provide timely reporting, monitoring, and feedback to the Program Manager

  • Represent Rocket Learning at district-level meetings and reviews

  • Travel regularly within the district to support program execution

Eligibility / Candidate Requirements

  • Graduate in any discipline

  • Ability to read, speak, and write Telugu is non-negotiable

  • Comfortable using WhatsApp, google docs, google forms, and basic Excel

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Willingness to travel 50%+ of the time within the district and occasionally to state HQ

  • Ability to work independently and solve field-level challenges

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience in NGO, education, training, field implementation, or community-based programs with experience of working with government stakeholders preferred

  • Expertise in conducting trainings or coordinating field teams will be an advantage

  • Strong ownership and accountability

  • Good communication and follow-up skills

  • Comfort with fieldwork and problem-solving

  • Mission alignment and enthusiasm for improving early childhood education
