Role: Partnership Account Owner, Snr Officer

Summary of position:
Sanivation is a venture-backed company that partners with local governments in Africa to create clean, healthy, and productive cities through waste management. We are growing and need a Regional Partnership, Snr Officer who will manage the company's relationships with its clients within an account. They will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with a portfolio of clients and connecting with key champions and stakeholders, which ensures that clients sanitation needs are understood and solutions proposed.
Role Overview
The Partnership Account Owner Senior Officer will report to the Partnership Account Lead. They will work with internal Sanivation teams from business development and business operations as well as lead all stakeholder engagement within the assigned cities. The focus will be in alignment and engagement of our clients in Malindi, Kilifi-Mariakani, and Kwale. The work will involve strategic partnership building, sales and account management, and business development.

Qualification and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in project management, sales, public policy, or relevant field of study
4+ years of experience working with governments on behalf of organizations or policy initiatives in Kenya
Existing political networks
Experience in sales, ideally in B2G sales or complex sales
Key responsibilities
Serve as the lead point of contact for the individual city account management matters
Identifying, building and maintaining good long-lasting client relationships with the key people who have the most impact/influence on our work
Quickly identify the key business relationships, understand the scenario of what might happen in the process, and proactively offer a relevant solution
Coordinating with capture, and project managers teams to meet project milestones and account KPIs
Support in account contract and agreement negotiation to maximize revenue generations
Build an effective communication strategy.
