  • We are looking for a new HR Officer to run our HR Operations section
  • This is a full-time role, based in Naivasha, Kenya


Role Overview

The HR Officer will be in charge of running and managing HR operations. He/She will be responsible for the implementation of HR processes companywide.

Required Experience

  • A Bachelor's degree in Human resources, psychology, or any other related field.

  • A higher diploma in HR or a CHRP certification.

  • At least 7 years of professional experience as a HR Generalist.

Required Skills

  • Thorough understanding of Kenyan labor laws

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Stakeholder management

  • Good ethical judgement

  • Great professional demeanor

  • Ability to meet deadlines.

  • Supporting hiring managers by providing guidance on the recruitment and onboarding process.

  • Partnering with recruitment firms to ensure timely recruitment for hiring managers

  • In charge of procuring items required for staff onboarding.

  • In charge of preparing the onboarding program for hiring managers

  • In charge of initiating the disciplinary or grievance process as per complaints brought by staff.

  • In charge of advising team/s on which disciplinary process to take as per our disciplinary and grievance process.

  • In charge of documenting all disciplinary and grievance notes as per the processes.

  • Responsible for initiating a disciplinary committee where need be as per the disciplinary and grievance process.

  • In charge of rolling out and reporting on culture or engagement conversations yearly companywide.

  • In charge of rolling out and reports on the yearly company survey

  • In charge of responding to industrial relations cases and working with the company lawyer on ligation cases.

  • Annual renewal of the companywide medical cover.

  • Liaising with medical representatives on staff requests

  • Responding to staff requests for medical reimbursement

  • In charge of the companywide medical budget

  • Together with our medical agents, arrange for medical talks, and seminars for staff companywide.

  • In charge of distributing staff benefits companywide using the annual benefits calendar

  • In charge of the inclusivity committee. Offers guidance and support in carrying out activities companywide.

  • Offboard staff as per company policies
