At Simple Education Foundation (SEF) we work with the government to build state-wide strengthening programs for teachers and principals to increase the standard of teaching in government schools across India. Our mission is to strengthen 1 million educators by 2028.
We are a highly driven team with over 50 years of cumulative experience in teaching in classrooms and working with government school systems. Our team is young, dynamic, bold and audacious enough to make this mission come true in our lifetime. To help us accelerate our impact, we are looking to onboard more members on our paper plane!
About the role
As part of the Learning & Insights team at SEF, this role is pivotal in capturing the essence of our programs and sharing invaluable insights with our broader ecosystem. As we look to strengthen our voice of hope and evidence, we are looking to produce high-quality research and advocacy outputs that are relevant to the Indian context, based on insights from SEF’s projects and from the ecosystem at large.
We are looking for someone who possesses a strong analytical mind, an individual who can keenly understand and analyze diverse programs, and synthesize findings into impactful narratives that advocate for our beliefs and showcase the effectiveness of programs. The key responsibilities include deciphering the nuances of various programs and interventions, capturing and articulating key insights in reports, and spearheading research studies to assess the effectiveness of tools and interventions.

How can you succeed in this role?
Generate reports, white papers, and articles focusing on SEF's interventions within partner schools and statewide programs.
Conduct research studies to assess the impact and effectiveness of tools, resources, and interventions utilized in our programs.
Collaborate closely with the Learning and Insights team lead to establish a comprehensive research agenda encompassing outcome-oriented studies and broader education-focused research in the Indian context.
Foster collaborative relationships, both internally within the organization and externally, particularly with academic and research communities.

Salary and benefits
Compensation will be between Rs 7,50,000 to 9,50,000 based on the experience of the candidate and will include the following perks:
