We are seeking an experienced Technical Marketing Assistant to accelerate lead generation, optimize lead qualification and enhance engagement and retention. The role will focus on increasing overall lead flow, testing diverse lead acquisition channels (such as Facebook, Google, and radio), and implementing tools to keep leads engaged through automated follow-ups (SMS, Email, WhatsApp), as well as potentially incorporating AI-powered advisory systems and eLearning platforms. Additionally, this role will look to integrate lead data with tools that the sales team can utilize for streamlined pipeline management and improved conversions.


Key Responsibilitie

  1. sLead Generation: Increase lead flow by designing and executing targeted campaigns on platforms like Facebook and Google while testing alternative channels such as radio for broader reach. Collect and analyze rich data from these channels to inform future strategies and improve segmentation
  2. .Lead Qualification: Develop and implement efficient systems for evaluating and prioritizing leads to enhance sales pipeline quality. Ensure that data capture processes provide actionable insights for call centre and sales teams, enabling better decision-making and follow-ups
  3. .Lead Engagement: Create tailored content and automated messaging (via SMS, WhatsApp, and Email) to maintain lead interest and improve engagement rates Implement tools like AI-powered advisory systems and eLearning platforms to engage farmers, nurture leads, and drive conversions
  4. .Loyalty & Referral: Research and implement best practices for referral programs, conducting tests with current customers to encourage word-of-mouth growth and customer acquisition. Develop automated workflows to provide ongoing value to customers post-purchase, aimed at increasing both customer lifetime value (LTV) and engagement in referral programs
  5. .Innovation & Insights: Leverage industry expertise and personal networks to research, test, and apply best practices in lead generation and customer retention. Work to integrate lead data into tools and platforms that enable the sales team to manage pipelines more effectively
  6. .Team Training: Train internal teams to use implemented tools and strategies effectively, ensuring sustainability post-engagement. Create documentation and workflows for seamless knowledge transfer

Experience and Qualificatio

  • nsOver 5 years of experience in East Africa’s agricultural sector, with a deep understanding of farmer livelihoods, market dynamics, and the challenges faced by rural communitie
  • s.Extensive expertise in lead generation and automation across diverse channels, including both digital and analog strategie
  • s.Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing digital advertising campaigns on Facebook and Google, with experience managing ad spends totaling tens of thousands of dollars in African environment
  • s.Skilled in leveraging technology to enhance lead support, engagement, and retention through innovative tools and approache
  • s.Possesses a strong entrepreneurial mindset, with a proven ability to identify opportunities, develop creative solutions, and implement strategies that drive measurable growth and impac
