Your mission at Sistema.bio:
The program manager will be responsible for driving Sistema.bio Biodigester business development in Nigeria and to build and manage relevant partnerships to achieve the project targets, provide market insights for strategic decision-making, and engage with relevant government stakeholders.
You’ll be in charge of:
- Identifying, onboarding, and managing partnerships across the value chain to set up a sustainable business for biogas in Nigeria.
- Gathering relevant market information and data to support the continuous development and refining of the business development strategy.
- Facilitating and supporting local partners to scale sales and installation of biogas digesters.
- Managing strategic projects that are needed to develop the business and engage relevant stakeholders.
- Identifying funding opportunities to finance investments and subsidize the end customer price.
More about YOU:
- Bachelor or higher education level in Agribusiness, business administration, economics, political science, or related field.
- Demonstrated passion for empowering smallholder farmers through climate-smart technology.
- Leadership experience in a professional, educational or community setting.
- 5+ years of market research, project management and partnership management.
- Strong professional verbal, written, visual communication and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to a strong team culture and build and maintain strong working relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
- Must be comfortable self-managing multiple priorities and partners concurrently, thrive in the face of change and uncertainty, and be motivated to drive projects forward.
- Positive, encouraging, collaborative attitude.
- Ability to work with a multicultural team.
- Experience working in the agricultural or renewable energy sector in Nigeria and well-networked with relevant public and private stakeholders.
