Somo focuses on vulnerable women and youth from low-income communities to stimulate economic growth, create job opportunities, and encourage social innovation within communities. We invest in the ability of East Africans, who are typically excluded from economic opportunities and systems, to effect systemic change through social entrepreneurship, with a special emphasis on women and youth.
