We are looking for a passionate Business Analyst to be part of our Data Science team.

What’s the role?

As a Business Analyst at Tarfin, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing data, identifying opportunities for improvement, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive meaningful business outcomes. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, gather requirements, and contribute to the development and implementation of solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis: Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform strategic decisions.
• Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for projects and initiatives.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and optimize business processes for increased efficiency and effectiveness.
• Report Generation: Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams across the organization, including IT, operations, and finance, to ensure alignment and successful project execution.
• Quality Assurance: Participate in quality assurance and testing activities to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of business processes, requirements, and project outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree or relevant certifications a plus).
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Proficiency in SQL and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI/Quicksight).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Solid understanding of business processes and a strategic mindset.
