AMI is looking for an ambitious and talented Content Manager to manage AMI’s library of courses, videos, tools, and toolkits on Google Drive and on AMILearn, our proprietary Learning platform.

Content Management

  • Support in the content development process (courses, toolkits and tools)

  • Project management support to content production and translation project (managing the translation team – which includes sourcing of people and preparing all resources for translation)

  • Building and improving content processes (e.g., testing plan, Quality Assurance process, Asset management sheet, feedback process, communication plan)

  • User support both internal and external

  • Course and Resource administration which includes creating/publishing, editing, archiving, testing and managing the courses and/or key resources on AMI’s learning technology platform and Google Drive

  • Review and improve AMI’s library of content to drive the adoption of AMI content; define, create, and manage libraries of practical tools.

Quality assurance and management of core content libraries

  • Management of quality assurance processes for content, including final publication of assets, archive (Back-up) of all content, tagging of assets for storage, and maintenance of content libraries.

  • Define, document and manage AMI quality assurance processes for all content.

  • Upload, tag and publish final content within the learning platform, including development of formal and informal assessments.

  • Process management and content tracking. Support to implement coding and tracking for all content assets.

  • Support to develop and track user analytics within courses to identify popular courses, content and priorities for ongoing content development.


Requirements

  • Experience creating and managing digital assets

  • Graduate Degree in communications, marketing, digital media, education, learning/instructional design or related field. Significant experience will be considered in lieu of graduate degree level qualification.

  • 3+ years experience in content development (in the learning industry) strongly recommended.

  • Experience in project management is strongly recommended.

  • Experience in marketing and designing an asset.

  • Content development / design | Develops content, including scoping, development, (some) design and editing/review

  • Project Management & Detail oriented| Creates and maintains sequencing of projects, prioritization and multi-tasking. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills

  • Communication | Excellent interpersonal skills. Excellent oral, written and visual communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Writing skills | Requires excellent writing skills and ability to research, analyse and synthesise information

  • Digital Media Production | Knowledge of design software. Ability to create visual representations of concepts. Ability to grasp new technology quickly

  • Personal | Motivated, self-starter, independent worker

  • Managing people and processes | Manage team, manage tight timelines
