AMI is looking for an ambitious and talented Programme Marketing & Communications Associate to drive programme-specific marketing and communications initiatives. The candidate will lead targeted marketing and communication efforts that drive programme visibility, recruitment and engagement across AMI’s markets. Working closely with programme, sourcing, sales and marketing teams, the role involves executing strategic communications, managing CRM-driven outreach, coordinating high-impact virtual and in-person events, and continuously identifying new channels and tactics for growth. The Specialist will also analyze project data to generate insights, optimize campaigns and report measurable results, ensuring seamless, high-quality programme delivery across Africa and beyond.
Responsibilities
Programme Communications & Marketing
Develop and execute strategic communication initiatives that support programme recruitment
Collaborate closely with programme managers, sourcing, and sales teams to ensure all programme communication needs are met while continuously strengthening sales-marketing alignment.
Utilize and manage customer contacts through a customer relationship management (CRM) system
Continuously research and identify new growth channels, technologies, and innovative tactics to enhance programme communications and marketing
Coordinate with other marketing team members to deliver reports to different stakeholders including senior management with measurable results from campaigns and communications
Other programme marketing and communications duties as assigned
Events Management
Lead the management and co-ordination of virtual and in-person events - webinars, masterclasses, workshops, and conferences - across Africa and other global regions as and when needed as part of programme delivery for projects.
Develop and implement event marketing and communications campaigns that drive awareness, registration, and engagement.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of projects and resolve any issues that arise.
Data Analysis and Reporting
Analyze project data, extract insights, and make data-driven decisions to optimize future marketing & communications efforts.
Utilize advanced analytics tools to identify trends, patterns, and areas of opportunity for growth.
