The/Nudge is an action institute building resilient livelihoods to alleviate poverty. We work with women, farmers, tribals and youth on rural development, agriculture, skilling and economic inclusion, along with 15+ central and state government partners.
Our economic inclusion journey for 25 million Indians, has reached 10 states with $230M of government funding to cover 1.25M people. Our incubator, accelerator and grand challenges have supported 225 social entrepreneurs including 17 Forbes 30U30, 3 EarthShot Prize winners, 1 Time Magazine cover and more.

What will you do?
  • learn our programs well to represent our work to philanthropically inclined HNI/UHNIs in India and Singapore
  • independently open doors with senior executives, qualify opportunities appropriately, navigate and close to expand the community of founding supporters in India and Singapore
  • leverage support from our current founding supporters from to build a pipeline of prospective donors
  • own annual fundraising goals - balancing short term goals while enabling long term growth.
  • work with cross-functional teams and the India development team to craft high quality collaterals/proposals that align the financial needs of the organization to the giving objectives of the donors.
  • represent The/Nudge in ecosystem events, as needed
Job Description: Associate / Senior Associate – Accounts Payable (AP)
Location: Bangalore (on site)

Reporting To: AD/Manager – Finance & Accounts
Role Overview
The Associate / Sr. Associate – Accounts Payable (AP) will manage end-to-end invoice processing, vendor payments, and compliance documentation. The role demands precision, accountability, and a strong understanding of financial controls. Preference will be given to candidates with CA-Inter qualification and experience in audit or accounting firms, who bring a rigorous approach to documentation, reconciliation, and statutory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
  • Invoice Processing & Validation
  • Review and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and policy compliance.
  • Match invoices with purchase orders and delivery receipts.
  • Ensure correct GL coding and approval workflows.
  • Vendor Management
  • Maintain and update vendor master data.
  • Resolve vendor queries and discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.
  • Payment Execution
  • Prepare payment batches and ensure timely disbursement via approved channels.
  • Coordinate with banks and internal teams for payment-related issues.
  • Compliance & Documentation
  • Ensure adherence to statutory requirements including GST, TDS, and audit protocols.
  • Maintain organized records for internal and external audits.
  • Reporting & Reconciliation
  • Assist in monthly closing activities including AP ledger reconciliation.
  • Generate reports on aging, outstanding payments, and vendor balances.
  • Process Improvement
  • Identify and recommend improvements in AP processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications &Education
  • B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance)
