About The/Nudge
The/Nudge is an action institute building resilient livelihoods to alleviate poverty. We work with women, farmers, tribals and youth on rural development, agriculture, skilling and economic inclusion, along with 15+ central and state government partners.
Our economic inclusion journey for 25 million Indians, has reached 10 states with $250M of government funding to cover 1.25M people. Our incubator, accelerator and grand challenges have supported 200+ social entrepreneurs including 17 Forbes 30U30, 3 EarthShot Prize winners, 1 Time Magazine cover and more.
Set up with support from 130+ eminent philanthropists , 40+ corporates and 15+ foundations including Gates, Mackenzie Scott, Vinod Khosla, Nandan Nilekani, Tata Trusts, Skoll, Meta, LinkedIn, HDFC, Mphasis, KPMG and L'Oreal, we are contributing towards a "poverty-free India, within our lifetime".
What will you do?
  • learn our various programs well to represent The/Nudge's work to corporate leaders
  • identify and build relationships with CSR/sustainability leaders in leading corporates across India
  • own aligned annual fundraising goals from corporates in India, quarter-on-quarter
  • work with cross-functional teams and the India development team to craft high quality collaterals/proposals that align the financial needs of the organization to the giving objectives of the donors.
  • build and maintain an engaged pipeline of donors
  • represent The/Nudge in ecosystem events
What does success look like for this role?
  • acquisition of new mission-aligned corporate donors in line with the annual fundraising goals
  • deliver on aligned annual fundraising goals from corporates in India (CSR funding)
  • inspirational leadership (high employee NPS) in building and retaining an inspired and high performing corporate fundraising team at The/Nudge
Who are we looking for in this role?
  • has a strong intent to work in the social sector
  • exudes an entrepreneurial spirit with high ownership and results orientation
  • is intellectually curious, well read and willing to learn by doing.
  • has a minimum of 15 yrs of experience in B2B relationship management/consultative selling to senior executives
  • is an articulate and confident speaker & is willing to travel within India
