About The/Nudge:
The/Nudge is an action institute building resilient livelihoods to alleviate poverty. We work with women, farmers, tribals, and youth across rural development, agriculture, skilling, and economic inclusion, in partnership with 15+ central and state governments.
Our economic inclusion journey towards serving 25 million Indians spans 10 states and currently reaches over 1.5 million people. Through our incubator, accelerator, and grand challenges, we have supported 200+ social entrepreneurs, including Forbes 30 Under 30 honorees, Earthshot Prize winners, and nationally recognized changemakers.
Founded with the support of 130+ eminent philanthropists, 40+ corporates, and 15+ foundations, The/Nudge is working towards a poverty-free India, within our lifetime.
What are we solving for? (About Economic Inclusion Program (EIP)) :
We are solving for households in poverty who are also financially and socially vulnerable through a targeted, multi-faceted, and sequenced model called the graduation approach, which has demonstrated that we can durably pull households out of poverty.
At The/Nudge Institute, we have been piloting this program for the past 3 years and are now scaling it across multiple states. Our purpose is to enable the most excluded individuals to become contributing members of the economy.
What will you do ?
  • Manage the program’s central "reporting engine" by establishing and facilitating regular cadences across various teams to ensure progress stays on track.
  • Drive alignment among diverse stakeholders to ensure that internal discussions remain outcome-oriented and move beyond simple status updates.
  • Synthesize complex program data into high-quality reports for senior leadership, donors, and institutional partners
  • Lead the program’s knowledge management efforts by cataloging institutional memory and streamlining cross-team information sharing.
  • Execute strategic communications by assimilating field case studies into compelling reports, organizational emails, and high-impact presentations.
  • Support the Strategy & Ops team in identifying operational bottlenecks and coordinating the necessary resources to resolve them.
  • Carry out any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the organization from time to time.
Who are we looking for in this role ?
  • Master’s Degree in Rural Management, Social Work, Public Policy, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized university.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience with a strong focus on program management, operations, or strategic reporting.
  • Proven track record in stakeholder management and "convergence"—the ability to align multiple departments toward a singular organizational goal.
  • Exceptional proficiency in MS Office, particularly in MS Excel for data management and PowerPoint for executive-level storytelling.
  • Proficiency with SQL and data management for large scale data analysis. Ability to utilise ML/AI for the same is preferred.
  • Proficiency in (or a strong willingness to master) design and reporting tools such as Canva or Adobe Illustrator / available AI tools to elevate the visual quality of program collateral.
  • Deep empathy for rural communities living in poverty, paired with a corporate-style urgency for time-bound, high-quality delivery.
  • Willingness to travel to remote field locations to gain the firsthand context necessary for authentic reporting and monitoring.
What’s in it for you?
