About The/Nudge Institute
The/Nudge is an action institute building resilient livelihoods to alleviate poverty. We work with women, farmers, tribals, and youth across rural development, agriculture, skilling, and economic inclusion, in partnership with 15+ central and state governments. Our economic inclusion journey towards serving 25 million Indians spans 10 states and currently reaches over 1.5 million people. Through our incubator, accelerator, and grand challenges, we have supported 200+ social entrepreneurs, including Forbes 30 Under 30 honorees, Earthshot Prize winners, and nationally recognized changemakers.
Founded with the support of 130+ eminent philanthropists, 40+ corporates, and 15+ foundations, The/Nudge is working towards a poverty-free India, within our lifetime.
About this Role
We’re looking for a design intern who can help translate complex ideas into simple, compelling visuals. This isn’t just about making things look good - it’s about making them clear, thoughtful, and memorable.
You’ll work directly on founder-facing and investor-facing materials - so your work will be seen, used, and discussed.
What will you do?
- Design pitch decks, reports, and presentations (a core part of the role), with a focus on clarity and structure
- Create visual assets for web, social, and communication materials
- Help build and refine the fund’s visual language - typography, layouts, and design systems
- Develop clean, minimal layouts that balance form and function
- Translate rough ideas or text into structured, high-quality visual outputs
- Work on long-form content (reports, insights, decks), ensuring alignment with both brand intent and business context
- Iterate quickly based on feedback while maintaining quality and consistency
Who are we looking for in this role?
- Strong fundamentals in layout, typography, and visual hierarchy
- Comfortable with Figma and/or Adobe tools
- Ability to simplify, not over-design
- Good aesthetic judgment (modern, minimal, not “template-heavy”)
- Attention to detail and willingness to refine work
- A portfolio that shows thinking, not just decoration
- Experience with motion graphics or simple animations
- Interest in storytelling through design
