At Verqor, we are looking for an Accountant
What you'll own:
- Monthly and annual accounting close processes — accurate, on time, every time
- Preparation, review, and analysis of financial and tax information under Mexican regulations (SAT)
- Financial reports, key account reconciliations, and executive presentations for management
- Budget tracking and variance analysis against forecast, with actionable recommendations
- Supporting treasury supervision and accounts payable oversight
- Driving continuous improvement in accounting, tax, and reporting processes
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Public Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles, ideally in fintech, financial institutions, or companies with credit portfolios
- Deep knowledge of Mexican fiscal regulations and SAT compliance
- Proficiency in accounting/ERP systems and advanced Excel
- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication skills — in Spanish and English
