VillageReach seeks an experienced SharePoint Developer to enhance our SharePoint environment, improving functionality, user experience, and integration with other internal systems. This initiative will modernize our intranet and enable robust data management, collaboration, and self-service capabilities.
Objectives
The primary objectives are to review, enhance, and optimize our SharePoint platform, focusing on intranet improvements, data management, seamless system integration, and user-centric workflows.
Scope of Work
The SharePoint Developer will undertake the following tasks:
1. Intranet Enhancement
- Review and upgrade the organizational intranet for improved functionality, navigation, and user experience.
2. Data Management and Categorization
- Implement a comprehensive SharePoint master data structure.
- Develop and enforce data categorization guidelines.
- Establish data access rules based on categorization to ensure secure and efficient information retrieval.
3. SharePoint Site Design
- Design and develop user-friendly SharePoint sites tailored to organizational and team needs.
- Develop and disseminate guidelines and best practises for future sharepoint site developments
4. Tagging and Search Optimization
- Design and implement robust tagging strategies to improve search capabilities and ensure quick access to relevant content.
5. Workflow Development
- Develop workflows to enable a robust employee self-service module, streamlining common HR and administrative processes like procurement and travel requisitions
6. System Integration
- Integrate SharePoint with other Microsoft tools and internal ERP systems, including Sage, Concur, and Zoho, to enable seamless workflows and data sharing.
