Workforce readiness is a huge problem in India. There is a huge disconnect between demand and supply of the skills in the workforce across sectors forcing youth to compromise on aspirations, income and location. Virohan uses technology and talent to fix this socio-economic problem, so that industry demand and skilled workforce are in perfect equilibrium. Virohan is re-engineering vocational training by aggregating the highly fragmented vocational training industry and standardizing their operations from mobilization, training to placements. Virohan's tech stack's plug-and-play installation at training centers assures demand-driven training is provided to students in an affordable, accessible and standardized manner to ensure youth achieve progressive livelihoods, industry receives trained workforce, and training centers have higher revenues and profitability. Virohan’s target audience is marginalized, low-income youth in the age group of 16-24, with about 50% of them being females. Virohan provides courses in Healthcare covering Allied Health, Corporate Training, and Refresher training for hospital employees in an omnichannel training model. The courses offered emphasize on development of core technical skills, language abilities, and life skills in the student through gamified blended learning delivered by its facilitators in classrooms. All programs include long internships at hospitals for hands-on practice of the skills acquired. It is a fee-based model and in order to encourage young people to join, financial linkages are provided with easy installment-based payback options after a job is secured by the young person. Virohan's tech stack predicts job demand, mobilizes youth as per that demand, trains them and connects them with jobs. In essence, this increases viable penetration, lowering operational costs and improving efficiency across operations (mobilization, financing, training, certification, placement) through standardization.
