Timely and high-quality delivery of tasks would be essential and will be a key performance measurement criterion. S/he will be based out of Delhi NCR (Noida), India.

What You’ll Do
- Work on project and activity-based accounting and grant management.
- Analyse financial data for purposes of timely monitoring of progress/performance, tracking project expenses, financial outlook, and forecasting.
- Support active financial management and donor reporting.
- Prepare monthly and year-end financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and profit and loss statements.
- Manage the financial recording of all grants and ensure the accurate coding of expenses assigned to such grants.
- Ensure proper expense control, inventory management, and document/bill verification.
- Ensure grant requests and grant utilisation certificates are sent as per timelines.
- Ensure timely completion of internal and statutory (external) audits.
- Ensure all statutory compliances are followed.
- Ensure Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) and its associated compliances are strictly followed.
- Be responsible for accounting of multiple projects with varying degree of complexity.
- Conduct regular meetings with program teams to discuss variance reports.
- Prepare budgets, cash flows, MOUs/Agreements, and financial proposals.
- Issuing and monitoring project advances and keeping a tab of project spends.
- Conceive and write organisational policies and manuals and oversee their strict implementation and compliance.
- Prepare MIS and dashboards.
Requirements
- 8 to 12 years of work experience.
- Educational qualification: CA and/or MBA in Finance.
- Sound knowledge and experience in managing projects in the development/social sector.
- Sound knowledge of and experience in FCRA and NGO accounting is preferred.
- Experience working on SAP and/or any other similar ERP system.
- Flexibility to attend regular calls with international donors outside normal office hours.
- Willingness to travel as and when required.
- Should be self-motivated.
- Should have good communication skills.
