Job Summary:
We are looking for candidates who get EXCITED ABOUT DATA. The Data Analyst will play a vital role in assessing and managing credit risks associated with our customer base. This position requires analyzing loan portfolio data, monitoring customer repayments, and providing support to the wider team by training staff and assisting when necessary. Responsibilities:
Credit Data Analysis & Risk Evaluation
- Conduct data-driven credit risk assessments by analyzing customer profiles, repayment histories, financial documents, and credit application data.
- Use dashboards and analytical tools to evaluate creditworthiness and identify high-risk customer segments.
- Ensure all assessments align with internal credit policies, risk frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate, well-structured digital records of credit decisions, supporting full audits.
Portfolio Monitoring & Performance Insights
- Continuously monitor loan and credit portfolios through dashboards, tracking repayment behavior, delinquency trends, credit limits, and aging reports.
- Identify early-warning signals using portfolio analytics and flag accounts requiring proactive intervention.
- Work closely with teams by providing data insights that inform collection strategies and customer follow-up prioritization.
- Support customer communication by providing data-backed updates on account performance, payment patterns, and credit terms.
Pricing & Product Analysis
- Analyze product pricing models, repayment structures, and financing terms to assess profitability and risk exposure.
- Use data to recommend pricing adjustments, optimize loan products, and improve customer affordability while protecting portfolio health.
Training & Operational Support
- Train call center and field teams on data-driven credit processes, system usage, and dashboard interpretation.
- Support call center operations during high-volume periods, providing expertise on credit-related escalations.
- Resolve customer credit issues using insights from system data and risk analysis.
Reporting, Dashboards & Strategic Insights
- Develop and update dashboards tracking key credit metrics such as delinquency rates, aging buckets, write-offs, and portfolio growth.
- Prepare periodic analytics reports for management, highlighting trends, risks, and performance opportunities.
- Conduct deeper statistical and portfolio analyses to identify behavioral patterns, operational bottlenecks, and areas for process improvement.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of data-driven credit risk strategies and portfolio optimization initiatives.
