About the Regional Sales Manager position
We are looking for a TWO (2) high-performing Regional Sales Managers to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company customer-centered towards a reality where "Every customer is a raving fan".
As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be the driving force behind revenue generation in your assigned region. Your mission is to maximize water sales, grow the number of home-connected customers, and maintain strong debt collection performance. You will lead a dynamic team of field technicians and kiosk attendants, ensuring they are motivated, disciplined, and equipped to meet ambitious targets.
Key Result Areas
1. Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth and meet set income targets at INUMA™ on water sales, both public and private, and house connection fees.
2. Customer engagement: Connect and Onboard new users both at public and private level, achieving 100% accurate database records essential for long-term customer success. Builds relationships with customers to achieve individual customer growth and low churn rate through conventional and innovative means. Maintains accurate records of each customer, crucial to successful automated transactions and effective customer support.
3. Customer Support: Resolving issues, inquiries and complaints in a timely and satisfactory manner, escalating/executing quickly as needed.
4. Lead their team: Hires, trains, motivates, sets expectations and disciplines their team, ensuring they remain productive and capable sales agents, adept at maintaining and nurturing great customer relationships leading to achievement of revenue targets.
Regional Sales Manager responsibilities are:
- Achieve and exceed regional water sales and revenue targets.
- Expand the customer base by increasing home water connections.
- Monitor and improve debt collection rates to maintain healthy financial profiles.
- Lead, coach, and manage a field-based team of technicians and kiosk attendants.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and take proactive steps to improve them.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on regional performance.

- BA/BSc or Asc degree in Marketing, Business or other related field (convince us)
- Prior experience managing sales with a wide customer base.
- Can entertain sales conversations in the following languages: Kinyarwanda, English, Swahili, and French.

- Understanding of the difference between scale and growth, and ability to work with team to achieve scale.
